It should be clear what to expect already when arriving at Areal Böhler: An improved pedestrian and cyclist connection leads people from the entrance to a new square that can be programmed with events and expo-related offerings. To improve safety and spatial hierarchy, the driving lanes are pushed to the edges and separated from pedestrian areas.
